The dishes feature a pure creamy glaze with a hand-painted rich, dark brown rim. Each 16 piece set includes four place settings: 11" dinner plate, deep soup/cereal bowl, 8" salad plate and a mug. Each mug is decorated with a fly on both sides, the bowl contains an image on the inside bottom in addition to the edges of the plates. Dishes are dishwasher and microwave safe.
