For the ultimate small stream experience this is the smallest, practical fly rod and reel combo available. If you enjoy fishing smaller streams or ponds, this rod is a blast – a 10" headwater brookie feels like a lunker! This rod and reel can handle the big fish too, we have testimonials of 20"+ trout caught on our mini-rods. The mini-rod combo is a custom designed graphite rod and matching 2" diameter machined aluminum reel and includes a tapered floating fly line, backing, tapered leader and a quality rod/reel carrying case. Another great "small" feature is the price, only $199.95 for the combo making this a great choice for any experienced angler looking for some fun. This is also a great first rod for a younger fly angler as the length and weight are much better matched to a youngster's height and strength.
