After seeing too many "copycat' world travel books, this collection was a tremendous, pleasant surprise. Roy Tanami takes us along on his adventures to Kamchatka, Canada, New Zealand, The Amazon, Argentina, and Cuba catching a wide variety of fish in amazing locations. What sets this book apart is the unique and spectacular photography and the keen observation and wit along with fascinating tidbits of historical and geographical lore that really tell the story of each destination. I probably won't get to most of these fabled destinations any time soon, but I thoroughly enjoyed going along with Roy Tanami vicariously.
