This piece is both machine washable and made of polyester fiber, mostly from recycled plastic bottles. Throw it in the wash and watch it come out good as new--Beautiful, bright & colorful! Always use a liner to provide slip resistance and prevent possible chemical reaction to some manufactured flooring. Made to last many washes: Gentle cycle; Do not bleach; Do not iron; Dry flat or hang to dry.
